This past weekend, I have been asked if my products have been made in China or "brought in from overseas" when asked politely. I am flattered that my work looks like they are "professionally" made, but each single item you see has been painstakingly handmade by myself and only me. Perhaps I am selling my work too cheaply? #juanitatortilla

  1. Maybe people just assume that goods made by local people are unattainable price wise? Or they just expect everything to be made in China? I remember being at a market with a friend in the USA, one of the vendors didn't have quite what she wanted, but he could make it, but was worried a week turn around would be too long. I guess that's the impact of cheap products from overseas, someone who makes products is worried that a weeks turnaround is too much!

How I love comments. Thank you for stopping by; I really appreciate it :)
