Kangaroo Island with Pickle

We managed to have a proper family getaway in-between The Hub's travel schedule, two weeks ago, by hopping on the ferry to Kangaroo Island. It was a major affair preparing for the princess' trip; there was litter tray, food, bed and carrier to take along. Exciting! We know she is one well-travelled cat, so this is not a big fuss for her.

In our three nights on KI we saw: Kangaroo Island kangaroos, sea lions at Seal Bay, Remarkable Rocks in Flinders Chase, Stokes Bay, dolphins in the distance, bought honey, had seafood platter as a birthday lunch and more than enough fish 'n' chips... The basic highlights of KI.

These photos of Pickle were not posed. She is such a good cat!

  1. I've been to KI twice. Once as a 16 year old, very new at my job (in 1980) working for a stock & station agency - we flew there with clients to buy sheep and in 1991 when Kirby was a baby. Not much sightseeing got done but it was a lovely peaceful break away. We must go back! Pickle is such a sweetie!

  2. Sounds like a wonderful trip. The photographs are gorgeous. Pickles is quite amazing, not many cats would put up with all that travelling.
