US Diary: Blimey, 32 Weeks have Past

This Friday the 13th marks the end of 32 weeks of our time in the USA. I ask the same question as you -- where did time go? Weeks 31 and 32 were technically not spent in the US...

'Week 31 in the US' was spent: preparing for our trip to Southeast Asia; 2 days in the air; then finally settling in a mountain resort in Malaysia for 2 days. Those work days went by quickly.

'Week 32 in the US' was time spent in Singapore for some familial convergence, feasting (a lot of it), followed by the long haul back to New Jersey.

Hello, jet-lag.

  4. Yay you visited Malaysia and Singapore! For a moment there, I was wondering if there was some other place in the world called Cameron Highlands. :P I haven't been there in years! Oh I'm so envious you had a chance to go back home for a visit. I hope it wasn't stressful.
I'll email you soon! Class will be over in a few days. :)

    1. Hehe. Yes, I remember Cameron Highlands from my childhood. It has changed quite a fair bit (in terms of climate); yet, some things are still so familiar!

    2. Oh, I'm sure it's a lot warmer now than it used to be. I bet the weather was just ok, not sweaty humid or cold, right?

  5. You are wearing the dress!!! I love it and can't wait for your new dress. You said that it would be inspired by the Carolina Herrera's dress in my post, right? :)

    1. Thanks, Diane! I am keeping that classy dress in mind as my next would-be project. So far, with my jet-lab, I've been so lazy to sew! :D
