US Diary 17: Memorial Day Parade 2013

Memorial Day weekend was a stay-cation for us. While on our way to a farmer's market, the main street was blocked, so we decided to see what the event was.

A little Memorial Day Parade. That lasted no longer than 15 minutes. We live in a small town. (And an even teeny tinier suburb!)

  1. I love seeing parades, it also nice to see part of the town where you are now living.

    1. Thanks Sarah. I realise I don't talk much about this town...

  2. Random parades are always fun - even if they are only 15 minutes long :D

  3. In Manila, we rarely experience parades of any sort. But if you move down from the nearby provinces, most celebrations are highlighted with a similar parade. Great photos!

    1. And I'm sure celebrations in Manila are pretty grand, whenever they do happen.
