My Eye Report: 2 Retinal Tears Found and Lasered

So I did find an eye centre to go to.
With the eye exam, the Ophthalmologist discovered 2 retinal tears in my left eye.
One big and a smaller one, she said.

Why the cause?
To say it simply, some people with myopia are just unfortunately prone to it.
( My myopia is not that 'intense',
neither was I ever punched in the eye, suffered an infectious disease,
or know of anyone in my family with this history. )

Maybe we can blame it on bad genes.

The tears were 'stapled down' with laser the same afternoon.
Like so:

The Ophthalmologist has done what she could.
There are other degenerations in both eyes
and need to be checked up by a Retinal Specialist.
I meet him in a week's time.

Despite the horror, I know I am in good hands.
Let's hope he has only good things to say.

This is the eye clinic I'm going to:

  7. It must've been quite an ordeal for you, but it's a good thing that you've made it through the end. My grandmother in Houston really needs to undergo LASIK consultation to see how bad her eyesight was.
