Sew Me Something: Made My First Dress

My first dress. A batik dress. My first dress. A batik dress. Details.

This is my very first dress I made following this Burda Easy dress pattern. I made it just before leaving for Venice, using Malaysian Batik fabric. I used every bit of the batik fabric, and it took me an ENTIRE day, because I didn't want to mess things up.

  6. Yes, batik is a great pattern ever. The idea is lovely. Anw, do you know that batik is originally from Indonesia, my country :)

  9. well, well...not only can you draw but you can also sew! I can't do either..I love the dress, it's perfect for summer and fall.all year round in fact (of course in Swiss probably need a scarf or two)
